hey guys,
ELS is one of the languages center which offers Intensive English Class in american accent to improve and enhance my english since I will pursue my study at the US.
Before the enrollment I have to do the placement test which will give me the actual level of my english. I got the intermediate level and will enroll the class in 8/6..
The candidates mainly are foreigners. Arab, Russian, Africa and so forth. What a pleasant moment to meet them. The class were fully air conditioned which gave the suitable atmosphere for the candidates.
All the staff are also very friendly and managed to remember my name. They are also very polite and decent with the candidates.
Argh... that all... anyone who enroll for this 8/6 class.. don't hesitate to leave your comment here..
Regards,
Kurt Komunis

hye! it's great that u've taken d initiative to improve ur english.i took class in ELS for a month.the conversation class was really3 cool especially if u hav denise as ur teacher.it really builds up ur confidence to speak english openly though i hav to warn u d writing and grammar class would b a little bit boring.they teach u d most basics.for d essay u will only hav to write 3 paragraphs.i bet ur gonna b d best student in ur class.oh yea in ELS they dun specifically teach american accent.u can still use british words in ur essay.ELS is great if u wanna improve ur writing skills but if u wanna improve ur speaking skills, british council was d better option.all d bez then! =)

Hi, Iqbal!
Really nice to meet you at ELS. Thank you for today's lunch!!! I think it all depends on you and what do you want to improve. Honestly, I think speaking in any foreign language doesn't show the level of that language. Simply because, everyone can speak in broken language if it's need society. So ELS is good for university, thus they are more focusing on Academic level. One of the benefit for me as a foreign student at ELS that I have an opportunity to better understand the other cultures. See you tomorrow!
